About Me

My name is Dan Pratt, I am 33 years old and live in Notting Hill, London, UK. I love to travel, experiencing new places, cultures and cuisines. I have been to some incredible countries and seen some breath-taking sights. Here are some of my stories, recommendations and tips if you are ever there.

I should also point out that I do not travel ANYWHERE without a pair of shorts. I believe that the traveler should be wearing shorts at every opportunity. So please join me as my shorts travel around the globe.

Before we start just a little bit about my background, I am originally from Swindon in the South West of the UK. I studied music, media and popular culture at University. Since graduating I moved straight to London, one of the best cities in the world for culture in my opinion and have not stopped traveling ever since.

I usually go on at least 5 trips a year and have worn shorts all over the world. Some of my favorite cities I have worn shorts in include LA, New York, San Francisco, Paris, Dubai, Cape Town and hundreds more.

My friends kindly and subtly pointed out that I do quite like a pair of shorts and this is true, I'm always in them and believe it's the way forward. It became apparent that this was the case when looking at my travel pictures, in every photo of me, shorts. Works out well as it does indeed make things easy for this website.

This is all about my short travels around the world, although some have actually been quite long in terms of time.
